Implant Placement
- Two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw.
- Two or more are angled at the back to engage stronger bone, often avoiding bone grafting.
- The implants fuse with bone through osseointegration.
Restorative Dentistry
A Fixed Alternative to Dentures
All-on-4 is a full-arch dental implant treatment that replaces missing teeth together with the gum structure that supports them. It may be considered after multiple tooth loss, advanced gum disease or significant decay, or when removable dentures no longer provide adequate comfort or function.
Instead of placing an implant for every missing tooth, a small number of strategically positioned implants (usually four, sometimes five or six) support a fixed, screw-retained full-arch prosthesis that doesn’t come out at night. Individual outcomes vary, and this treatment is not suitable for everyone; your dentist will assess your circumstances, explain the risks and discuss alternatives.
25+Years dental experience“All-on-4” means four implants supporting a full arch. “All-on-X” is the same concept with 4, 5 or 6 implants, depending on bone volume, anatomy and treatment goals.
All-on-4 or All-on-X may be recommended if you:
Have multiple missing teeth or full-arch tooth loss
Have advanced decay or gum disease
Want a fixed alternative to dentures
Have sufficient bone volume, or can be treated with angled implants
Five or six implants may be recommended when bone volume is reduced, bite forces are high, the arch is long or extra support is needed for a zirconia bridge.

Teeth that don’t slip or click like dentures can.
Significantly better chewing function than removable dentures.
Custom-designed teeth and gum contours for a natural-looking smile.
Angled implants make the most of available bone. Long-term success rates are reported at around 93–98%, depending on protocol and follow-up.
We’ll discuss every pathway with you, including its benefits, limitations and risks, so you can decide what suits your oral health, lifestyle and goals.
All dental procedures carry risks. Treatment times and outcomes vary between individuals and depend on factors such as bone levels, oral health and healing response.
We discuss your history, goals and concerns, and evaluate how you smile, speak and bite, along with your facial structure and oral health.
Comprehensive 3D scans let us create a digital simulation of your proposed smile. Previews are indicative only, as results vary.
You can give feedback and request adjustments before treatment, so you feel informed and confident.
Implants are placed and temporary teeth fitted on the day of surgery. Final teeth follow in 2–3 days or after about 3–4 months of healing.
Regular reviews and maintenance keep your implants working well. A nightguard may be recommended, and we’ll coach you on long-term hygiene.
No. The full-arch bridge is screw-retained onto the implants and only removed by your dentist for maintenance.
In many cases, yes. Temporary fixed teeth are usually fitted on the day of surgery while the implants heal.
Five or six implants may be recommended when bone volume is reduced, bite forces are high, the arch is long or extra support is needed.
Costs depend on the number of implants, materials and any preparatory treatment. We provide a written, itemised estimate before treatment begins. Private health fund rebates (HICAPS) are processed on site, and flexible interest-free payment options (Afterpay, Zip and DentiCare) are available.
